AWA works to promote the Human Rights and overall well-being of Sex Workers through:

∙ Challenging all forms of discrimination and stigma against SWs in their diversity (including non-identifying women in transactional relationships who include, slay queens, small houses, sugar babies, escorts, call girls, mistresses, as well as Lesbian, Bisexual, Queer sex workers).

∙ Lobbying for laws, policies and practices that defend the human rights of sex workers

​

∙ Strengthening the prevention and treatment of substance and drug use, including narcotic drug use and harmful use of alcohol towards harm reduction

​

∙ Coordinating self-help groups for (YWSS, Non-identifying sex workers, Single parenting, PrEP champions)
